Dear Esteemed Colleague,

It is our honor to invite you to the conference Facing Language and Cultural Education Challenges in the Current World, which will be held in Nitra, Slovakia, on June 12, 2025. The event will take place at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia (UKF), supported by the Department of Romance and German Studies, Faculty of Arts, UKF, in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Education, at „Aleksandër Moisiu“ University, Durrës, Albania.

The conference aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and educators to exchange ideas, present research findings, and engage in meaningful discussions on the latest developments, trends, and challenges in foreign language education and culture. Conference Language

The conference language will be English. Presentations in other languages must be accompanied by an English PowerPoint presentation. Proceedings will be published in English, German, Spanish, Italian, and French.

  • In-person Presenters: €50
  • Online Presenters: €25
  • UAMD/UKF Members: Free
  • UAMD/UKF Students: Free

Payment
Upon paper acceptance, participants will receive payment details via email. The participation fee includes registration, conference materials, and a certificate.

Full Paper Submission Guidelines
Papers must be submitted as a Word document and should clearly state the aim of the study, following the  structure below:

  • Abstract (should be limited to a maximum of 250 words)
  • Keywords (maximum of 5 words)
  • Introduction
  • Research questions/applied scientific methods
  • Data analysis/main results
  • Recommendations/conclusions in a concise summary
  • References

To facilitate easier processing, reviewing, and publishing, please adhere to the following checklist:

  • Single-spacing throughout the document
  • 12-point Times New Roman font
  • 1” margins on all sides (top, bottom, and sides)
  • The first page should include the title (14-point font, bolt), author(s) (12-point font, bolt), their affiliation(s) and e-mails, abstract, keywords and beginning of the text
  • The manuscript must not exceed 4,000 words (excluding tables, figures, and references). Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned for editing
  • References should follow APA Style

Transport Information
The nearest airports are located in Bratislava and Vienna. From either airport, you can take a bus to Nitra. The journey from Vienna to Bratislava takes approximately 1 hour, and from Bratislava to Nitra, it is also around 1 hour by bus.
